How often do I need to come in for touch-up after my first follow up?
Touch ups are recommended every 8-12 months, pigment is expected to fade over time as months/years go by. To keep the color fresh and strokes crispy, an annual color refresher is normally recommended. *Again, please note, results vary, as skin types are different as well as lifestyles, etc. It is normal to get a 2nd session to achieve desired fullness. This 2nd session is a "perfecting touch up" appointment. As everyone skins varies, this 2nd session allows us to access and study how well your skin reacted to the new tattoo.
What if I need to go to an event while I'm healing?
As recommended, you want to read and do research on the aftercare stages to plan your events/life accordingly. Please see an example above: You will heal for 4-6 weeks: Some heal faster than others. (I do not own these photos)
The basics to avoid during the healing process: IMPORTANT!!
No water- keep them dry. (You will be guided and be sent home with an aftercare kit with full instructions)
No heavy workouts, sweating, hot yoga, spa beds, tanning, etc.
No makeup on eyebrows.
Sun exposure, wear bigger shades/baseball cap if needed.
No alcohol intake 24 hours before and after.
No caffeine before the appointment.
Hair appointments for 2 weeks.
No swimming, surfing, avoid water activities for the next couple of weeks.
Avoid making an appointment 2-3 weeks before your big events.
!! Healed results will vary by each client. Using a pencil or powder may still be needed for some clients. We have no control over what occurs during the healing process. Absolutely NO guarantees will be made. We don't recommend multiple touch ups within a year, one or two is typically all you need, again this varies by clients skin and how it absorbs your new tattoo.

How long does permanent makeup lasts?
This varies by clients skin type, lifestyle, age, products used, etc. Sunlight exposure plays a big role in pigment fading, each individual absorbs the pigment different, a touch up / color refresher is recommended yearly. This is still SEMI- permanent, it is not meant to lasts forever like a traditional tattoo, this new technique is only implanted on the basal layer of the skin, epidermis, a traditional tattoo implants 2x-3x deeper hence the long lasting results. However; as we age, our face shifts, changes throughout season/years, specially the eyebrow trend changes, we want to also make changes in our look/eyebrows to look our absolute best!
What do I do to prep for my appointment?
If you get threading/waxing done, please do so 2 days before your appointment, not necessary. Do not drink caffeine/alcohol 24 hours before, if you tint your brows, please do so 1 week before your appointment. No facials, fillers, botox 2 weeks before your appointment. Do not work out before your appointment. I recommend taking the day off for the appointment for extra pre-cautions.
How long does the appointment lasts?
Each service varies, approximately, microblading will take 1.5 - 2 hours -- ombre shading will take 2.5- 3 hours, this covers the consultation as well.
Touch ups on average take 40 minutes- 1 hour. Tattoo removal - 1 hour
What service will be good for me?
This varies by person to person, not every eyebrow will suit everyone’s face.
If you have oily skin or somewhat oily, ombre shading will be best.
If you have more dry skin type, microblading or ombre shading will do, it’s up to your personal preference.
If you like to wear makeup on your eyebrows everyday, ombre shading will do. This gives you the powder finish look.
If you like more natural, microblading will do, it will look best if you have natural eyebrow hairs.
If you have the skin type to pull both technique (microblading/shading) but have zero to very little eyebrow growth, ombre shading will look best.
If you have the skin type to pull both technique with zero to very little eyebrow growth, then you can start with microblading, wait until you are healed, make the decision to add shading later.
If you have previous tattoo work done, you must send clear photos of your current eyebrows to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to booking an appointment.
